Daniella Hart
Head of Provision
Daniella is a Qualified Teacher, SENDCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). She holds a BA (Hons) in Childhood Education Studies, with research focused on children with SEMH and the effectiveness of Alternative Provision, Diploma in Education and Training Management, NASENCo Award, and a range of specialist qualifications in SEND, CBT, safeguarding and curriculum leadership. Her academic and professional training demonstrates a commitment to evidence-informed practice and to improving outcomes for learners.
She has extensive experience across mainstream, specialist and secure education, having taught and led in secondary schools, SEMH settings and HMP Peterborough, with responsibilities including Functional Skills, ESOL, curriculum development and quality assurance. This breadth of experience has equipped her with strong skills in behaviour management, SEND support, safeguarding and re-engaging learners who face complex challenges.
Before founding NewHeart Learning, Daniella worked as a Maths Teacher at Sir Harry Smith Community College, Senior Leader for Maths and English at The Harbour School, where she developed sequenced curricula from EYFS to secondary, and as an Alternative Provision Teacher, Assistant SENDCo and DDSL at Neale-Wade Academy, leading interventions, completing EHCP reviews and coordinating multi-agency support.
Safeguarding is central to Daniella’s leadership. She has delivered staff training, completed detailed risk assessments, managed concerns, and ensured consistent safeguarding practices. She also excels at building strong relationships with families and professionals, working closely with parents, social workers, and specialist services to ensure learners receive the support they need to thrive.
At NewHeart Learning, Daniella leads on educational vision, curriculum design, safeguarding oversight, staff development, therapeutic behaviour approaches, and ensuring the provision delivers exceptional support for KS3 learners. Her warm, energetic, and dedicated leadership style sets the tone for a compassionate provision in which every pupil feels safe, understood, and capable of success.
Nicola Klimczuk
Business Manager
Nicola is an experienced and highly versatile Business Manager with more than 17 years of professional expertise across operations management, finance support, marketing coordination, and strategic administration. Known for her exceptional organisation, reliability, and proactive problem-solving, Nicola brings a wealth of knowledge to NewHeart Learning as she oversees the business operations that keep the provision running smoothly and safely for staff, pupils, and partner schools.
Nicola also brings practical project management experience from her voluntary work and personal endeavours. As Secretary of a local fundraising charity, she manages documentation, compliance, and community events. In addition, she jointly oversees multiple self-build property projects, handling budgets, schedules, regulatory paperwork, and supplier liaison, further showcasing her ability to manage complex operational demands from end to end.
At NewHeart Learning, Nicola leads on business operations, finance coordination, compliance, administration, and the smooth running of day-to-day systems. Her attention to detail, calm professionalism, and deeply organised approach ensure that the provision is efficient, safe, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Nancy Canham
Teaching Assistant
Nancy brings a wealth of experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs, having worked within both mainstream and specialist education settings. Most recently, she has been supporting students in the SEN department at Sir Harry Smith Community College, where she has provided personalised emotional and learning support to help young people achieve their full potential.
With a background in both education and health and social care, Nancy has developed a calm, patient and nurturing approach that enables her to build trusting relationships with children, young people and their families. She is passionate about creating an environment where every learner feels safe, valued and understood, and is committed to promoting inclusion, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Nancy also holds A Levels in Health & Social Care and Public Services, alongside training in British Sign Language (BSL), further strengthening her ability to support the diverse needs of the young people we work with.
As part of her professional development at NewHeart Learning, Nancy will begin her ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) training in October. This will further enhance her skills in supporting the emotional wellbeing of our students and reflects both her commitment to developing her practice and our investment in helping staff progress their careers.
Rebecca Hutton
English Teacher
Rebecca brings over ten years of experience working in education, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs. Her extensive background spans specialist schools, Alternative Provision and mainstream education, giving her a wealth of experience in adapting teaching to meet the needs of every learner.
Rebecca has planned, prepared and delivered engaging learning activities for individuals, small groups and whole classes, covering lessons and leading learning. She has significant experience adapting lessons, resources and teaching approaches to meet EHCP outcomes and personalised learning targets, ensuring that every student can access the curriculum and experience success.
Rebecca has also worked as a 1:1 Tutor within Alternative Provision, where she designed and delivered personalised learning programmes for young people who had experienced barriers to education. Through creative and engaging teaching, she supported students to develop literacy, communication and emotional regulation skills, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and prepare for their next stage of education.
She is passionate about making English meaningful and accessible, believing that reading, writing and communication are essential life skills that open doors to future opportunities. Rebecca enjoys creating lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
Alongside her teaching experience, Rebecca has a strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour support and trauma-informed practice. She works closely with families, schools and external professionals to ensure every learner receives the support they need to thrive. Rebecca is also currently studying towards a degree in Health and Social Care, demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development.
